A new design trend that I absolutely love. Dark colors on the walls. Most people are fearful of putting too dark a anoint color on the wall, for fear it will make the room dark. Dark paint color can actually make the colors in the room come alive and feel vibrant. Take a look at some of these great photos and let me know what you think.
Room of the Week: This retired homeowner wanted to transform her extra upstairs room into a lovely guest bedroom with a real "cottage" garden feel. The first choice was the wall color of light garden green, which set a fresh and relaxing tone. Next, full length panels were placed over the one small window to make it feel and look larger. The bedding was accented with floral pillows and two small rattan chairs with floral print cushions created a small sitting area. The homeowner now loves her charming guest room!
Here is a sneak peek into one of the projects that I have been working on that I am submitting to this years annual dream room competition.
